The Transpacific Yacht Club announced the start dates for the 52nd biennial running of the Los Angeles to Honolulu Transpacific Yacht Race. For the 2023 edition the start dates are: June 27th, June 29th and July 1st. Once divided into divisions, entries will start from slowest to fastest in order to come closer to finishing together at Diamond Head. The first edition of this race was 1906 and is one of the longest and oldest among the world’s classic ocean races, starting at Point Fermin in San Pedro and finishing 2220 miles away at Diamond Head in Honolulu. – Full report
